Your library holds reusable audio assets (intros, outros, bumpers, ads) that you can insert into any episode as segments.
The library is your collection of reusable audio clips. You upload files once, then insert them into any episode from the episode editor via "Insert from library."
Open Library from the app navigation. You'll see a list of your uploaded assets. You can play them, edit metadata (e.g. name, tags), and delete files you no longer need.
- Go to the Library page (or use the upload option from the "Insert from library" modal in the episode editor).
- Upload an audio file. Supported formats and size limits depend on the instance (see main README for
LIBRARY_UPLOAD_MAX_MB). - Optionally set a name or tags so you can find the clip later when inserting into episodes.
Library files count against your storage limit (or the limit of the user who owns them).
In the episode editor, choose Insert from library. Click the clip you want; it's added as a segment. You can insert the same clip in multiple episodes. See Uploading and library inserts.
- Edit - Change the name or tags from the library list or detail view.
- Delete - Remove the file from the library. This does not remove it from episodes that already use it as a segment; those segments may show as missing or need to be replaced. Prefer deleting only when the clip is no longer used.
