List does not always serialize

[tinnystudios]

Certain type of list cannot be serialized.

List<AudioClip>
List<CustomScriptableObject>

A current workable if someone is desperate is to wrap your CustomScriptableObjects inside a CollectionScriptableObject containing a list of CustomScriptableObjects.

Lists of audio clips and custom scriptable objects are now working as of unity 2019.1.10f1

[MichaelLiminal]

Lists of audio clips, animation curves, scriptable objects, etc do work. The actual problem is that these fields, when put inside a custom class, don't serialise/deserialise correctly. presumably, this is being caused by the unity classes being deserialised after the custom class in question.
