Preserve all existing declarations while narrowing proof search, reusing analytic bounds and removing transitively redundant imports. The strict Lean environment audit preserves all 6593 existing module/name records. Final controlled ABBA mean wall time is 424.335 -> 419.475 seconds; the ten-percent target is not established. Candidate preserved locally pending the daily cycle disposition.

Advisory cross-file review against Lean Pool's supervisory rubric. This is not by itself a significance, source-verification, or merge verdict. [Low impact] No actionable regression was found in the reviewed source changes; this is not a full merge sign-off. SummaryRefactors proofs across 243
No actionable findings were established. The full diff and project card were read. Builds, exported-environment audits, timings, and external Mathlib import paths were not independently reproduced. Vilin97 explicitly acknowledges that the 10% whole-project target is not established and that RAM use is essentially unchanged. The reported 1.15% wall-time reduction is presented as an observed result, not a guarantee. External source fidelity and upstream license evidence were not independently verified; this refactor leaves those records unchanged. "summary": "At 96b6b02, this refactor narrows tactic searches, reuses existing library facts, shares a proved positivity lemma and derives Hilbert bounds from existing sharp equalities. Review covered all 243 changed file pairs and 1,099 changed retained proof bodies. The 4,250 existing written declaration headers and 806 non-theorem values are preserved; the 57 removed Mathlib imports retain their public dependency paths. The sparse maximal estimates keep their sign hypotheses and constants, and the new positivity lemma uses premises already available at its two callers. Moving the two Hilbert equalities earlier introduces no new construction hypothesis or circular dependency. Explicit arithmetic premises and simplification lists improve the proof arguments without losing useful structure. I found no source issue requiring repair. This is a source verdict: hosted build, lint, style, quality and protected integration remain required, and current main is still unqualified. The private elaborated-environment audit and reported timing improvements are unverified.",

QuadraticCarleson has 298 modules and approximately 77,000 lines. Baseline module and declaration profiling showed expensive arithmetic search and repeated analytic bounds. This pass reduces that work in the existing project while preserving every existing declaration.

Head:96b6b02ef04d8158fdcc8d75e60f17b8273a390e.The mathematical changes derive Hilbert multiplier inequalities from the existing sharp equalities, bound the sparse maximal estimate's product before taking its real power, share the repeated raw-factor nonnegativity argument, and reuse Mathlib's geometric-sum, finite-supremum and unique-choice lemmas. The broader pass restricts arithmetic tactics to explicit hypotheses, uses linear arithmetic where sufficient, gives simplification explicit lemma lists, and removes unused local facts. Per-tactic profiling was used to discard slower replacements.
lake shakeinformed 57 redundant public-import removals; the public import closure and its traversal order remain identical for all 298 modules. The declaration audit compares Lean environments exported from separately built base and optimized worktrees. It structurally serializes fully elaborated expression DAGs, including binder names and metadata, universe parameters, declaration kind, safety/partial flags, mutual groups, reducibility hints, and complete non-theorem values. Only theorem proof bodies are exempt. A supplementary export compares inductive metadata, constructor indices and recursor reduction rules. All 6,593 existing module/name records (6,580 unique names) are preserved with zero differences, including private and generated declarations and all 918 definition values. The only new named source declaration is the supporting
QuadraticCarleson.finiteSparseRawFactor_nonneg; the remaining additions are generated theorem helpers. Source signature and declaration-context audits also find no existing signature, option, attribute, notation or namespace changes.Controlled whole-project measurements, in ABBA order:
Mean wall time: 424.335 → 419.475 seconds (1.15% reduction). Mean aggregate CPU time: 1051.270 → 1019.565 seconds (3.02% reduction). Peak single-process RSS: 1,798,312 → 1,796,068 KiB; there is no substantial RAM reduction.
Each run removes only this project's build outputs and recompiles all 298 modules, with cached pinned dependencies, fixed CPU affinity and identical sources within each side:
No optimization probes ran during these four builds. Source SHA-256 maps were recorded and compared, and the measured optimized sources match the committed head. These are warm-dependency measurements on a shared VM: load varies, and the RSS statistic is the largest individual process rather than the combined memory of concurrent processes. The timing table is an observed comparison, not a guarantee for other machines.
Separately, 48 declaration-profile samples cover 12 slow modules, in base/head/head/base order on CPU core 12, one Lean process at a time, with
LEAN_NUM_THREADS=1andElab.async=false. Total profiled declaration CPU time is 81.665 → 68.885 seconds (15.65% less), and heartbeat work falls 16.35%. These totals include the new helper's cost and exclude module loading. Heartbeats fall in all 12 sampled modules; the largest reductions are BohrIntersection (56.79%), QuadraticTTStar (53.19%), LowKernelDerivative (30.22%) and FiniteSparseMaximalProof (24.37%). These are local elaboration results; the 10% whole-project wall/RAM target has not been established.Validation passed:
