Document Scanner PDF is a focused, no-frills mobile scanner for Android and iPhone. Point the camera at a document, let the app detect the edges automatically, fix the perspective, enhance the page, and export a multi-page PDF. The whole flow is on-device — no account, no upload, no subscription.
It is designed for the things people actually scan: receipts, invoices, contracts, ID cards, school assignments, business cards, handwritten notes, lecture handouts, books, and forms that need to be sent over email or uploaded to a portal.

Q: How is the edge detection done? A: The app analyzes each frame from the camera and finds the rectangle that looks most like a document. You can tweak the corners manually if the auto-detection picks the wrong edges.
Q: What does "magic clean" do? A: It boosts contrast, drops shadows, and turns smudgy paper photos into clean white pages with crisp text.
Q: Are my scans uploaded somewhere? A: No. Scanning, cropping, filtering, and PDF export all happen on the device. The app does not upload your documents.
Q: Can I make a single PDF from multiple pictures already in my gallery? A: Yes. Use the import option to add photos one by one, reorder them, then export the whole stack as a single PDF.

Is it free? Yes. The app is free to download and use. No paywalled features.
Do I need an account? No. There is no sign-up, no email, no login.
Are my documents uploaded? No. All scanning and PDF export is done on your device.
What's the maximum number of pages per PDF? There is no fixed cap. Limit is your device storage.
Can I edit a scan after I save it? You can re-open a saved scan, add or remove pages, re-apply filters, and re-export.
Why does the app need camera permission? Camera access is the only way to capture pages. The camera is used solely for scanning.
Why does it need photo / media permission? Only to let you pick existing images to add as pages, and to save the exported PDF.
Can it OCR (extract text from) the scan? This release focuses on producing a clean, shareable PDF. Searchable-text OCR is on the roadmap.
What devices are supported? Any Android phone or tablet with a camera, and iPhones / iPads on iOS 13.0 or later.
