animations stutter/freeze when bumping into anything or falling small distances

self explanatory, could I prevent this somehow? The animations also completely freeze when pressing or holding the 'W' key.
these animations are all from the latest version of LuAnimator.
I know this is quite old but I love using this, this kinda thing just keeps getting in my way.

side note, I'm basically replacing all of my vanilla sprites with custom ones for everyone to see. If I could get help making my items and weapons visible that would be great too. thank you for making this great tool
