Description

What to build

A flaky test can be quarantined only with a link to its issue and an expiry date at most 14 days away; once the date passes, the build fails again, so a quarantine cannot become permanent. The marker format is added to the testing standard.

Part of the estate testing standard: spec 007, testing standards.

Acceptance criteria

  • The testing standard defines one quarantine marker per language (Go, Kotlin, TypeScript/Playwright) carrying an issue link and an expiry date
  • A shared check fails the build when a marker's date has passed, or is more than 14 days away, or has no issue link
  • Tests prove it: a marker dated yesterday fails, one dated tomorrow passes
  • identity runs the check
