The Windows release candidate imports
VCRUNTIME140.dll, requiring a separate Visual C++ Redistributable on machines that do not already have it. Build Windows releases with+crt-staticand reject external Visual C++ runtime DLL dependencies during packaging. The source-path privacy check remains enforced.Prepare v0.3.1 with matching crate versions, container label, and installation documentation. The existing v0.3.0 validation tag is preserved; no v0.3.0 binary release was published.
Validation on
a028e81ad0290d36ddffcfa1ae544f5e4f192a74: full CI and all five release platforms pass. All five downloaded archives have valid checksums and exactly the expected public package contents. Independent PE inspection confirms the Windows executable has no external Visual C++ runtime DLL dependency. The same check rejects the older candidate as expected. The GitHub-built Linux v0.3.1 executable passes fresh automatic MiniLM download, first chat, saved-settings reopen, overrides, and failed-setup preservation. The v0.3.1 container passes real MiniLM chat and saved-heart reopening as its restricted user. Existing v0.2.0 heart compatibility was checked with the packaged executable.
