Can't add this repo as a Swift package — Package.swift is hidden in a subdirectory

I failed to add this package to my Swift project, following the installation guide on the official website:

.package(url: "https://github.com/jakubantalik/border-beam.git", from: "1.4.0")

SwiftPM requires Package.swift at the root of the cloned repository. In this repo it only exists at ports/ios/BorderBeamKit/Package.swift, so SwiftPM reports the manifest is missing / cannot be accessed.
