Yee and Grossmann introduced it in 1990 on the GAMS platform. It's a stage-wise superstructure for cost-optimal heat exchanger network design and serves as my first attempt at a Julia-based MINLP model for chemical process optimization, potentially assisting fellow beginners in this research area.
