Release records for solomonR 0.8.1, a patch release the maintainer approved on October 4, 2026.

It fixes #119, merged in #120: in 0.8.0, fit_solomon_sem() and fit_solomon_sem_latent() gave wrong contrasts when the data did not begin with a pretested, treated participant. It also carries the changes merged since 0.8.0:

The behavior changes for v1.0 (#121–#124) are not included and will merge after this release.

Release records

  • Version. Version: 0.8.1 with a release Date, and NEWS is headed # solomonR 0.8.1.
  • Citation. CITATION.cff gives the released version and date.
  • README and roadmap. The README status block describes the patch and asks users to refit affected analyses, and the roadmap records it.

After merging

  1. Tag v0.8.1 and publish the GitHub release, which triggers the R-universe build.
  2. Open development as 0.8.1.9000.
