Route statistics (#30) come from recorded dates only: per submission
(first decision, revision rounds, outcome, time at the journal), per
manuscript (journals, time to acceptance and publication), and library
medians with their sample sizes. Missing or inconsistent dates are left
out, never estimated.

The Insights page (Ctrl+5; Import & Export moves to Ctrl+6) shows the
medians, Your Journals (#62), grouped by Journal Library record or
exact name, and Your Routes. The Journals page shows the selected
journal's history in one line.

Pipeline and route reports (#63, #30) are self-contained web pages,
previewed before saving, that never read notes, correspondence,
reviewer comments, file paths, or contact details.

Each manuscript gets a type and any number of tags (#64), edited on a
Type and tags card on its Overview. Types are set by the user or stated
by an import source (BibTeX entry type, RIS TY, ORCID or Crossref type);
nothing is inferred, and Crossref never replaces a chosen type. Tags are
normalized, unique per manuscript, suggested from the library, and
colored from their name unless the user picks a color.

Tags show on board cards beside the journal, keeping card heights equal,
and in new Library columns; board search and the Library filter match
tags and types. CV export can group by type, BibTeX and RIS export use
the type when known, and the Excel workbook carries WorkType and Tags.

Schema 8 adds the fields with a marker-only upgrade shared with Schema 7.

Two windows on the same library each held their own copy in memory, so
a save in one could overwrite the other (#77). A second launch now
signals the running window to come forward and exits before touching
storage. The guard is keyed to the library folder, so the development
profile and isolated test sessions are unaffected.

A manuscript's Route opens on its whole route drawn to scale: each
stretch colored by who held it (the journal, the author, production),
journals named above, and every event numbered and explained ("after 48
days of rerouting"). Insights gains a Route Map tab that lines up every
published route at day 0 with the median time to publication and the
share spent with journals, revising, and in production; unfinished work
can be included, drawn to today. Time the record does not assign is
hatched as not recorded, never estimated.

Also renames TagStrip's Layout helper, which shadowed Control.Layout.

The proposals awaiting scope review move into v0.9: the journal
shortlist (#65), an attributed offline guide to choosing a journal
(#89), journal facts from open indexes (#87), evidence-based journal
suggestions (#88), the teaching example library (#83), the optional AI
assistant (#84, #29), and the RO-Crate decision (#45). Every online
feature follows one local-first rule with a Work offline switch (#86).
1.0 hardening moves to v0.9.1.
