Grocy Angular

Grocy

Grocy is a web-based self-hosted groceries & household management solution for your home.

History

This project was started to be able to import recipes from the website of a Dutch supermarket. It then grew to a usable frontend for more tasks related to Grocy. The main reason being the slow UI of Grocy.

Used techniques

This application is based on Angular and Angular Material. It communicates with Grocy using the REST API of Grocy.

Run with docker-compose

This application can be run with docker-compose. By default this application will be run on port 81. Adjust settings in docker-compose to customize.

Development server

Run ng serve for a dev server. Navigate to http://localhost:4200/. The app will automatically reload if you change any of the source files.

Code scaffolding

Run ng generate component component-name to generate a new component. You can also use ng generate directive|pipe|service|class|guard|interface|enum|module.

Build

Run ng build to build the project. The build artifacts will be stored in the dist/ directory. Use the --prod flag for a production build.

Running unit tests

Run ng test to execute the unit tests via Karma.

Running end-to-end tests

Run ng e2e to execute the end-to-end tests via Protractor.
