Closes #91

setup.sh now writes /etc/apt/preferences.d/loopify-deadsnakes: priority 500 for python3.14, python3.14-*, libpython3.14 and libpython3.14-* from o=LP-PPA-deadsnakes, and -1 for anything else from it. It is written whenever the PPA's source file exists, so re-running setup.sh on a host that already has the PPA adds the pin as well.

Verified on ilserver4 through a temporary PreferencesParts:

  • python3.14 and libpython3.14-stdlib keep their candidate 3.14.8-1+noble1.
  • python3.13, which only deadsnakes publishes, has no candidate.
  • python3.12 is still Ubuntu's.

setup.sh is not an input of the ilserver4 installer: it provisions a host and does not run on every deploy. After the merge, the same pin is written on ilserver4 once.

An APT pin gives its python3.14 packages priority 500 and everything else it
publishes -1, so it can never replace a system package.
