Every track stops about 1 second before its real end and the
next track starts immediately. Happens with all tracks. The same files play to the end in other players.
"Single-click play" is enabled in Settings, but a single
click doesn't start playback.
Steps to reproduce
Open WaveFlow with a library containing FLAC files.
Thanks for the report, and sorry about the cut endings, that one is a real bug and it was not specific to your setup. WaveFlow decodes about a second ahead of what you hear, and when a track ended it moved on to the next one without letting that last second play. The fix is in #933, and it will ship in a 1.9.6 patch release soon.
About single-click play: it does start playback with one click in Library → Songs here. But right now that setting only applies to that list; album pages, playlists, Liked songs, artist and genre pages, history and the queue still play on double-click. Could you tell me where you were clicking when it did nothing? That will tell me whether it is the setting not reaching that view or something else.
Regarding single-click: it only works in Library → Songs. It does not work in any other section, not in playlists, artists, genres, years, or albums. In all of those it still requires a double-click.
So it seems the setting is indeed not reaching those views.
WaveFlow 1.9.6 has just been released and fixes the cut endings: tracks now play all the way to the end before the next one starts, including with gapless playback. The in-app updater and package managers will pick it up as the builds finish publishing.
Thanks for checking the single-click setting in every view — that pinned the second issue down. It was only wired into Library → Songs. #935 extends it to albums, artists, genres, years, playlists, liked tracks, history and the queue.
That change is part of the new interface coming in 2.0, so it won't be backported to a 1.9.x update.
I'm closing this issue since the audio bug is fixed in 1.9.6 and the single-click issue is fixed for 2.0. Feel free to reopen it if anything still looks off once you have the relevant update.
