Dark Deku — Opera GX mod

Late Season 6 vigilante Izuku: deep green, near-black surfaces, and Gran Torino cape yellow in highlights (scrollbars, link hovers, focus rings, atmospheric gradients). Wallpaper: wallpaper/dark_deku.mp4. Icon: dark_deku_icon.png (512×512). Shaders: Vigilante Haze, Night Run.

Music: music/soundtrack.mp3 (listed in manifest.json → background_music).

Load & test

1. opera:extensions → Developer mode → Load unpacked → this folder
2. opera:mods → enable the mod

Background music not playing?

Opera GX mixes four background layers (vertical remixing). This mod lists the same soundtrack.mp3 four times so that system always has valid layers (same trick as the official mod template).

Also check:

• Easy setup (sidebar) → turn Background music on and set volume.
• opera://settings/background_music_settings — music enabled and volume up.
• opera:mods → hover the circuit at ~6 o’clock (music) → ⋯ → ensure music isn’t muted for this mod.
• If the mod folder path has issues, try loading from a path without spaces (e.g. DarkDeku instead of Dark Deku).

Shaders

• Vigilante Haze — darker green with slight warmth (SkSL tint)
• Night Run — subtle animated wave
