Installation

Prerequisites

• A modern web browser (Chrome, Edge, Brave, etc.)
• A Google AI API key (get one at Google AI Studio)

🚀 Quick Start

1. Get Your API Key

1. Get a free API key from Google AI Studio
2. Copy your API key (starts with AIzaSy...)

2. Install the Extension

git clone https://github.com/Harsha2318/FlashReply_X.git

3. Load in Chrome

1. Open chrome://extensions/
2. Enable "Developer mode" (top-right)
3. Click "Load unpacked" and select the extension folder

4. Configure Settings

1. Click the extension icon
2. Select "Settings" (⚙️)
3. Paste your API key
4. Choose your preferred tone
5. Click "Save"

💡 How to Use

1. Find a Tweet - Browse Twitter as usual
2. Click 🤖 AI Reply - Next to any tweet's reply button
3. Review & Post - The response is automatically inserted for you to review
4. Edit if needed - Make any adjustments before posting

• Change your tone anytime in settings

Building from Source

1. Clone the repository

2. Make your changes

3. Load the extension in Chrome:

   git clone https://github.com/yourusername/x-ai-reply-extension.git
   cd x-ai-reply-extension

4. Make your changes to the code

5. Load the extension in Chrome

   • Go to chrome://extensions/
   • Enable "Developer mode"
   • Click "Load unpacked" and select the extension directory

Testing

1. Make sure the extension is loaded in Chrome
2. Navigate to Twitter and test the functionality
3. Check the browser console for any errors (right-click -> Inspect -> Console)
