Location codes

Location codes can be appended to a Touchpoint URL, for example: https://touchpoints.app.cloud.gov/touchpoints/40/submit?location_code=DC.

The response record would have a location_code value of DC.

Document referer

The referer field on a response is set from the document.referrer property of the page on which the user took your survey. So, for instance, imagine a user whose journey was:

1. Visit https://agency.gov/.
2. On that page, click on a link taking them to a hosted Touchpoints survey.
3. Submit a response to the hosted Touchpoints survey.

The referer field for this response would be https://agency.gov/.
