Vendor scripts/desktop-skin.sh for Kali guest (nh-x11): Kali-Dark trio, compositor off, brand plates, panel-slim, snapshot/revert. Wire ci-unit bash -n + self-test, smoke.yml, docs/X11-PERFORMANCE.md, and thin `grokhunter desktop apply|status|revert|self-test` via lib/x11.sh (bin/grokhunter stays under 1000 lines).
