Temporary source-only PR used to run and register the verify-ai-provenance status check after its trusted workflow was merged to main.

• Changes no AI artifacts, workflows, config, or canonical data.
• Expected result: verify-ai-provenance succeeds with its no-op path.
• Close without merging after all checks are green; then add the check to the main ruleset.
