The Compose file and node entrypoint the cluster role places on each host still said they were bind-mounted from a checkout, and one comment pointed at a host_vars file that lives in a fleet's own repository. Comment-only: Compose won't recreate anything, though the role reports both files as changed on the next run.

The Compose file and node entrypoint still said they were bind-mounted
from a checkout, and pointed at a host_vars file that belongs to a
fleet's own repository. They are placed in github_runner_cluster_dir by
the role, and a host keeps an earlier node name through
github_runner_cluster_node_name.
