💡 Vulnerability: Allowing arbitrary HTTP URLs for remote AI endpoints transmits sensitive requests in cleartext over public networks, enabling MITM interception.
🎯 Impact: Confidential prompt data and credentials could be eavesdropped or altered in transit.
🔧 Solution: Implemented
isValidAiEndpointinlib/providers/settings_provider.dartto enforce HTTPS for remote servers while allowing loopback HTTP for local dev tools. Added validation logic tosetEndPointinAppSettingsNotifier.✅ Verification: Added unit test cases covering HTTPS URLs, local loopback HTTP URLs, remote HTTP URLs, and invalid scheme formats. All unit tests and static analysis passed.
