We used
flutter_platform_widgetsto give a more native feel to Android and iOS and it worked pretty well but it has been deprecated.The new approach is to standardize on Material widgets with some theme tweaks to make it look less obviously like Android while on iOS.
As a result, there are some visual style changes that need to be worked out and I plan on doing them in follow up PRs.
