Remove docs/ops/today-mode/ from .gitignore per operator decision; keep beastie-ecosystem-sync scripts and mascot asset ignored. Add 2026-07-03 today-mode checklists and refresh CARRYOVER for bestiary/Maestro handoff. Closes #1147
