Change and mathematical scope

Archive the completed Pro17 C05 scope correction, its independent criterion review, and a subsequent exact original-source consumer-domain proof in the new isolated research/h25-c05-criterion-consumer-contract package.

C05 requires an independently approved bounded witness for the named current header/search/macro/compiler/specs/link/library closure. A 21-channel universal-origin enclosure is an optional sufficient method; its stronger obligations are not prerequisites for every alternative construction. This correction establishes no current simpler adequate implementation, inventory completeness or row saving.

The actual direct variant consumer has exactly two ordered -nostartfiles role builds, pyinit_failure and exec_failure, with six literal C/header path occurrences and the same GCC options in both Python modes. It never calls native_packet.prepare. The original positive triple is a separate linked consumer/contract without -nostartfiles; there is no automatic five-command child-C05 union. The header-admission SHA is a copied provenance binding, not completeness authority, and the parent's nine-category/8192-row inventory is separate. Parent cwd C0 is independently fixed; the helper inherits actual producer cwd/environment, whose continuity remains open.

C5(D,Gamma) and Gamma must be fixed/admitted independently of the proposed inventory or favorable queries. The sufficient inclusion into JustifiedFacts(I,Pi;Gamma) requires explicit sound rules, provenance, bounded representation and current-instance binding; Pi cannot be an off-inventory oracle. Intended complete builds and admitted variation keep the domain nonvacuous despite proper early-refusal controls.

Full C05/full V03 remain false. Original progress is unchanged: 43.5%, 22/49 activities, 2/10 stages, 1/10 milestones, 24 components/52 helpers; original activity credit added is zero. All costs remain OPEN_NOT_ZERO. No selected-frontier, supplier, theorem, full-caller or performance result is proposed.

Task and overlap

Explicit donor source-clarification assignment; scope refined because Pro17 corrected the earlier universal-enclosure framing and the source proof resolves the exact direct consumer. No task picker/card was run. Base 7c49fe32c55de02c2c873655c804b16e4c3fef0a, tree e6898c8ba7a27b71587c32ba3f639259ceeeed91, live-main observation 2026-11-02 20:18:55 UTC. The older original source basis is intentionally retained byte for byte in inert .py.txt snapshots with exact path/byte/SHA256/Git-blob mapping.

Bounded overlap checked the first 30 open PRs by update at 20:23:46 UTC and the known retained 36-node dependency graph. Relevant unchanged heads: PR6377 2a26450dea25d7648b585befce5ed375857a8f90 (Linux channel source audit); PR6379 48e99ca2be58cd455f1d56896e9deea6652e5308 (conditional AT_RANDOM events); PR6374 b02bfe3338f7fe57818262b33f8e5c77ac0f1c93 (owned-directory preparation); PR6373 b91c5c74f252c1a98ab8344d012702170004ed13 (bounded caller). This later criterion/domain clarification is additive and edits none of them. A C05 search returned zero despite listed known matches, so its empty result is non-authoritative; no global novelty/exhaustive-coverage claim is made.

Validation

The documented source-archive format is deliberate. No VERIFY.json hook executes the unqualified originals. The standalone new verify_integrity.py checks complete archive file inventory, exact bytes/SHA256/Git-blob identity, source mapping, structured-witness consistency and selected literal contract anchors; it reads text/JSON only, imports no archived code, invokes no subprocess and writes no package files.

Observed local checks passed with Python 3 standard library in normal and -O modes, and from a Git-free read-only package-only copy. A copied Pro17 response with one added byte was rejected. Commands:

The exact assistant answer is 8,312 bytes, SHA256 25b826a0c3160961bd837694e350403f6a61e7ee526a68b8f5c5e2174110df32; completion receipt and both independent audit reports are retained. There are no claimed Pro17 attachments or prompt/history exports. All original source snapshots are inert; the archive is self-contained for this static audit, not an executable transitive-source closure or full-history claim. A shared Git cache is not source-history evidence. Hosted plan success with replay skipped would establish archival planning only.

No GCC/diagnostic/native/TCB/original baseline/V03/policy/namespace operation was run or admitted. No fitting inventory, source-to-installed correspondence, current namespace/C07 lifetime, genuine configured parent/native/receiver/funding admission, fixed C06 expectations or complete-cost original execution is supplied. Static source proof, byte integrity, AI review, publication and any later archival merge remain distinct.

The smallest useful follow-up is one concrete command-specific installed-configuration producer-to-consumer contract: independently freeze D/Gamma, map effective include/PCH/macro/specs/subtool/link-selection facts and justified complements to the original consuming path, and bind its reporting/source rules to the exact installed instance. Stop at the precise unavailable installed-default/specs/tool-selection/reporting correspondence; package identity, a successful query or an unverified public-interface premise is insufficient. This archive authorizes no query.

Then, separately: complete inventory construction/fit and current namespace observations; actual cwd/environment continuity and C07 ownership/lifetime; configured source/parent/native/receiver/funding admission and C06 expectations; intact V01 baseline and every original V03 case in both modes with all original caps/failure rules and complete costs.
