βπ Extrapolate short-term precipitation arrival by comparing the last few RainViewer radar frames (already fetched for the radar overlay) to estimate a storm cell's motion vector, then project it forward against the user's location. No new data source β pure on-device math on frames already in memory, in the spirit of the Dark Sky "minutely" feature competitors don't offer for free.
Risks: naive frame-diff motion estimation can be noisy for fast-forming/dissipating cells (not just translating ones); needs a confidence/fallback state ("can't tell" beats a wrong ETA) rather than always showing a number.
