Feature idea: Focus Mode–aware alert suppression #11

Respect the user's active iOS Focus/Do Not Disturb mode for non-critical surfacing (audio announcements, haptics, future push notifications), while always allowing Severe/Extreme alerts through — extends the "driver distraction" thinking already applied to CarPlay to Focus modes generally.

Risks: requires INFocusStatusCenter entitlement; easy to get the "always allow Extreme" carve-out wrong and either annoy users or suppress something that matters.
