Full freeze and crash on n3dsxl

As the title says, I am not sure if anyone else is even experiencing this yet I'm just using the latest version, tried regular and high ram versions, and no matter which one the very moment I hit the home button or do anything to make an attempt to leave the app the entire system just freezes and then I have to hold the power button to eventually get to a black screen where I can hear it exit but still black screen and I have to then continue holding until the 3DS is turned off. Have not even been able to choose a video yet because if I can't exit the app I don't see a point in trying to use this yet

So do you mean you can't close the app after opening it?

So do you mean you can't close the app after opening it?

I am on the latest luma version. Here is a video of it. That is currently the high ram version also. It was doing the same thing with the regular one

I followed the exact step on my NEW3DS (11.17.0-50J), unfortunately, I couldn't reproduce the issue.
What is your system version (not luma, 3DS itself that is on nintendo's settings menu)?

It happens to me too. I just updated video player for 3ds 1.6.1. Everyime I open a video, it crashed with bunch error code, dump files. My luma version is 12.0.1. Video player for 3DS version 1.5.1 is fine. Also can you add steam video? Support m3u file extension. Thanks

Hello so unfortunately yes the problem has persisted, I should note this is only happening to me when trying to use the physical home button. the little tappable upside down triangle on the touch screen that's pointing to the home button is usable when I tap that and there is no crash. : quick little thing I Jsut noticed: while in the screen that says "do you want to exit the software" tapping the physical home button also causes the same issue, but just tapping the a button when trying again to close it does work. Also I am using the high ram version this time, not the regular version I have not tried the regular version yet

Hmm... do you have custom home menu or something customized component except Luma3DS?

Unfortunately, I have no idea as I never successfully reproduced the issue.
I'll update whenever I find something relate to this issue.
