👋 Jules, reporting for duty! I'm here to lend a hand with this pull request. When you start a review, I'll add a 👀 emoji to each comment to let you know I've read it. I'll focus on feedback directed at me and will do my best to stay out of conversations between you and other bots or reviewers to keep the noise down. I'll push a commit with your requested changes shortly after. Please note there might be a delay between these steps, but rest assured I'm on the job! For more direct control, you can switch me to Reactive Mode. When this mode is on, I will only act on comments where you specifically mention me with New to Jules? Learn more at jules.google/docs. performance note to qualify speed claims by measured runtime and input sizes.
Remove the assertion that comprehensions execute entirely in C, and recommend
replacing dict.fromkeys only when benchmarks show a benefit for the target
workload; preserve the ordered-deduplication context.

Exact-head lifecycle correction — 2026-10-03
The valid delta remains open as Draft / Proposed until claims and exact-head evidence are supportable. No rerun, bypass, merge, release, or Close is performed. |
I have added a focused test/benchmark delta in |
Review repair evidenceExact head It also removes the nondeterministic wall-clock assertion by restoring The remaining one-file production delta is explicitly Proposed and carries no C-level, 2×, hot-path, or completed-performance claim. The two review threads now point only to removed lines and are outdated. Resolving them records that their exact finding was removed; it is not an approval and does not make the PR merge-ready. |
Restore the sole production file to protected develop. The proposed dictionary-comprehension form is behaviorally equivalent, has no retained deterministic product-shaped performance evidence, and adds no security detector or corpus coverage. Preserve all concurrent and review-repair commits in ordinary ancestry; this leaves no valid delta to merge.
Verified no-valid-delta retirement
Therefore there is no valid delta to merge or carry over. Close is authorized only on that verified basis; this is not a merge, release, bypass, or claim that the zero-step hosted failures are GREEN. |
Acknowledged. I am stopping work as the PR is now closed due to the lack of a valid delta. |
Understood. Acknowledging that this work is now obsolete and stopping work on this task. |
Retired — verified no valid delta
f44339a465e8bd3ed7e6edf2e3e0210642361028develop@2949d30718752ea5915c7713ba227e8c19d9e5bfThe proposed dictionary-comprehension form preserved behavior but had no retained deterministic product-shaped performance evidence, no demonstrated product hot path, and no security detector/corpus value. The generated C-level/2× guidance and nondeterministic wall-clock assertion were removed before retirement.
The sole production file was restored byte-for-byte to the protected-base blob. This PR is closed only because GitHub verifies zero effective files and no valid delta remains; it was not merged, released, force-updated, or treated as GREEN from zero-step hosted runs.
