**Learning:** R에서 단순히 열 개수를 세기 위해 행렬을 데이터프레임으로 변환(`ncol(as.data.frame(matrix))`)하는 것은 불필요한 O(N) 메모리 할당과 복사 오버헤드를 유발하여 성능을 크게 저하시킵니다. `ncol()` 함수는 기본적으로 행렬(matrix)을 기본 지원합니다.
**Action:** 열 개수를 계산할 때 대상이 행렬이거나 데이터프레임일 수 있는 경우, 불필요한 형변환 없이 `ncol(target_object)`와 같이 직접 호출하여 불필요한 메모리 복사와 O(N) 오버헤드를 방지해야 합니다.
