Most references give you a wall of prose, or stop at the obvious basics. CheatGrid is structured differently.
Every topic starts as a cheat sheet: built from authoritative sources and broken into clean concept → example → description tables, sorted from most-used to most-advanced, with an interactive mind map and a quick index so you can see the whole landscape and scan to any concept in seconds. Each sheet aims to go beyond the basics (common techniques, advanced patterns, and the related concepts you didn't know to look for), so it works as much for discovering a subject as for looking things up in it.
Many topics go further, to help you keep what you learn:

The pieces aren't separate apps; they're three angles on the same topic:
- The cheat sheet is your reference and your map of the subject.
- The flashcards are written from a learning standpoint (simpler wording and concrete examples), so a beginner can actually understand a concept, then spaced repetition makes it stick.
- The practice test turns the topic into questions (one right answer, two tempting wrong ones) so you can pressure-test what you know, and it doubles as a fast, Q&A way to learn. Any practice test can also be flipped into QA Flashcards for review.
Wherever a topic has more than one of these, you'll see quick links between them so you can jump from exploring to studying to testing without hunting through menus. And everything links out to primary sources when you want to go deeper.
Roadmaps sit one level above all of it: instead of picking topics one at a time, a roadmap sequences a whole set of them (and their flashcards) toward a goal, and tracks how much of what you've studied you'd still remember if quizzed right now.
Cookbooks turn a cheat sheet's rows into something you actually do: a short, ordered recipe for one real problem, with a Cookbook button on the matching roadmap step and on the cheat sheet itself so you never have to go looking for it.
Your Dashboard is the view back across all of it: the totals, your study rhythm over the last 12 weeks, how your scores and your recall are holding up, and what is worth picking up next.
Not every topic has all three yet, and the ones that exist don't stand still. We keep adding new pieces, pairing them up, and updating what's already there as the subjects evolve.
