AshDex 🔥📏

AshDex is a web-based collection tracker built for cataloguing Ash Ketchum's Pokémon across multiple figure scales.

Originally created for a 1:12 scale collection, AshDex now supports both 1:12 and 1:20 scale tracking, with separate progress statistics for each scale and a combined overall completion percentage.

Multi-Scale Progress

Each Pokémon can represent two collection targets:

• 1:12
• 1:20

For example, if AshDex contains 100 Pokémon, full multi-scale completion represents:

100 Pokémon × 2 scales = 200 collection targets

If you own:

80 Pokémon in 1:12
20 Pokémon in 1:20

your overall scale collection progress is:

100 / 200 = 50%

The app also shows independent progress percentages for 1:12 and 1:20.

Existing collection entries from earlier AshDex versions are treated as 1:12 entries for backwards compatibility.

Local Development

Requirements

• Node.js
• npm

Install

Clone the repository:

git clone https://github.com/ChaliDo/AshDex.git
cd AshDex

Install dependencies:

npm install

Create your local environment configuration in .env.

Then start the development server:

npm run dev

Production Build

Create a production build with:

npm run build

The generated production files will be placed in the dist directory.

Firebase Deployment

After building the project:

firebase deploy --only hosting
