Summary

  • Add a Control card so an agent can drive the app over MCP. The card is off by default. Five modes stack: read, apply, write, full, and everything. Turning it on starts at read.
  • The server binds 127.0.0.1 port 38471 and does not switch ports. The setup dialog gives a stdio command that forwards to http://127.0.0.1:/mcp.
  • Tools cover scenes, layers, effects, presets, displays, the floating window, the clip deck, timeline transport, recording, and export. A denied call names the required mode and tells the agent not to change the mode or click the panel. Allowed changes refresh the admin panel, including the display selection.

Tests

  • npm test: 2586 passed, 1 failed. The only failure is HTTP stays on 38471 and does not hop when that port is busy, because port 38471 is already taken by the running app. The assertion was not changed.

The Control card lets an agent drive the app. It stays off until the user turns it on. Five modes stack: read, apply, write, full, and everything, and the card starts at read. The server binds 127.0.0.1 port 38471 and does not switch ports. Agents connect with the stdio command, which forwards to the local HTTP endpoint. A denied call names the required mode and tells the agent not to change the mode or click the panel.
CI failed because the docs still said 2577 tests while the suite has 2587. The busy-port test now listens on 38471 itself, or uses the listener already there, and asserts the server does not hop. Live preview captures the visualizer or admin preview as shown, instead of reading an empty WebGL buffer, and says the canvas is not ready instead of returning a black image.
The layer stack is what the output and the admin preview draw. Studio apply and MCP visualizer or enable calls now update that layer and turn it on, instead of only writing a classic field. Preset saves that arrive while the folder is still loading stay in the open list, and the preview rebuilds when a shader preset changes.
The preset store requires Electron at import. CI does not install it, so tests/live-refresh.test.js failed while loading and its four cases never ran. Stub app.getPath the same way the other preset tests do.
Logo glow painted a white shadowBlur under the sprite, so raising it washed the frame gray. Edge bloom blurs the silhouette, knocks out the opaque core, and adds only the fringe with lighter.
At 100% the edge bloom was still the old 40px shadow radius, and knocking out the opaque core left only a faint fringe. Full strength now uses about a 120px blur at 1080p and stacks that fringe three times with lighter, still only around the silhouette.
Integer bloom passes snapped the halo thicker at a few percentages. Radius and intensity now rise together from off at 0% to the same strong fringe at 100%, still only around the opaque edge.
Below 20% the halo was only a few pixels, and from 40% to 80% that tight fringe stacked into a blob. The radius and strength now ease out, so the glow is visible by 10%, wide and soft by 40%, and still strongest at 100%.
The Çalan Parça glow slider never reached the cover, which still cast a shadowBlur. The cover now uses the logo edge bloom: colored fringe, smooth 0-100%, dark background, no white veil.
Open windows now pick up preset saves and same-length MilkDrop text without a restart. The image-library delete button draws a real icon and clears the selected item. An empty display list stays empty. Now Playing and text layers expose the alignment, hold, and type controls the canvas already reads. MCP setup paths follow Windows, macOS, and Linux, and the endpoint file is owner-only off Windows.
The visualizer keeps the latest now-playing snapshot and starts even when the sandboxed preload cannot load a local file. Text and now-playing controls sit in the existing tabs. Off Windows the duration is typed, and the system time fields stay hidden.

2613 unit tests.
The delete button used to drop the scene logo only when that card was selected. A library image that is on screen but not selected now clears too.
