xdocs encouraged companion Markdown metadata by default and could omit descriptors from its tree. This change requires explicit directory and frontmatter grants, keeps directory context in one named descriptor, and displays every discovered descriptor through the full hierarchy.
Report writes now validate content and destinations before atomic replacement. A read-only existing-frontmatter audit finds malformed headers even in directories without descriptors. Embedded skills, prompts, and documentation follow the same policy.
Validation: Go 1.26.5 tests, vet, native build, independent CLI smoke tests, strict repository metadata and doctor checks; Windows AMD64 and macOS ARM64 cross-builds. Runtime smoke tests ran on Linux.
