Hey, how is the usability as replacement of the original BTT firmware? Do all features (movement, CAN-bus) work? Why is there no current development going on?

I would love to update my BTT Servo42B, as it lacks so many things...
Should i give this a try?

Unfortunately, there is an unsolved issue with step counting that makes the project unusable. No matter what I tried, I was unable to produce accurate step counts over full prints. I’m not sure how BTT did it, although a firmware binary is included in the GitHub if you’d like to try reverse engineering it. As a result of this issue, I stopped working on the project. Features such as CAN bus support are possible… likely with an adaptation to the Klipper firmware. I remember looking into it, but had already switched my printer over to TMC2130s. These days, I moved to a X1C… once you go Bambu you can’t go back. Best of luck to you… sorry that I can’t deliver better news.
