This is the first of a few PRs to bring JSite up to modern Java standards, updating deprecated libraries and the like. It now compiles and successfully runs tests on Gradle 9.3.1, Java 17, with the latest Mockito.
There are some minor updates to Generics ("Diamond Operator") changes to meet current code standards as well.
