BlockyOS 1.2.3 (Design | Feature)

This release has a new feature!

Feature Added:

• You can now install apps from BlockyOS itself! No need to Drag'n'Drop or drag into the apps folder (unless you really want to!)

And some general optimizations.

BlockyOS 1.2.2 (Design | Changes\Bugfix)

This release has some changes and a bugfix!

Changes made:

• Android users now have support for custom backgrounds, but require storage permissions to use the feature.
• More buttons now have the new themed buttons
• Settings icon is now visible when colors are too dark

Bugs fixed:

• Debug output has minimalized errors when running from a console.

BlockyOS 1.2.1 (Design | Bugfix)

Bugs fixed:

• Default background now correctly loads in.
• Reset background button now resets background
• Corrupt background now shows instead of crashing.

SimpleText

SimpleText is a new text editor made for BlockyOS. With it's lightweight nature and little to no additions, text writing is as simple as it gets with nothing to get in the way!

BlockyOS 1.2.0 (Design)

BlockyOS 1.2.0 is here!

These are the new features and changes made!

New Features:

• Drag'n'Drop app support
• Custom backgrounds
• Custom Accent color

Changes made:

• Update Downloader now saves the default download location.
• Versions now follow a version.channel naming system. (Ex: 1.2.0.Stable or 1.2.1.Beta)

Bug fixes:

• When updating versions, it now saves your previous settings file and appends new changes to it.

Drag'n'Drop:

As the name implies, Drag'n'Drop is a new feature that allows for you to drag .pck apps onto the desktop and it will automagically add them to your library!

Backgrounds:

Finally! Custom backgrounds are here! Pick any image you desire to have as your background and in no time, it will apply to your desktop! If there are certain desktop images that aren't supported or corrupted, it will let you know by adding a temporary background letting you know what happened.

Accent Color:

For certain areas in BlockyOS, there will be an accent color. For example, on the start menu, you have the familiar green since day one. Now, you can change it to be any color you wish! Text will adjust to fit your color of choice for the best viewing. In partnership with the custom desktop backgrounds, you can finally make the system tailored to your liking.

BlockyOS 1.1.5 (Productivity | Feature/Bugfix)

This release is a has bugfixes and a new feature!

New features:

• Added update downloader folder selector to pick where the file downloads.

Bugs fixed:

• Versions downloaded on different systems only downloaded as an exe file with the OS's respective app data in there.

BlockyOS 1.1.4 (Productivity | Changes)

This release is a has bugfixes and some changes.

Changes:

• Errors from downloads now show as errors in the app to reduce interruptions.
• Windows now have more features you can enable or disable per window/app.
• Windows now popup in the dead center no matter what size it opens as.
