On stag-noto, lib versions in attached file.
Clicking NEXT/PREV or other buttons applies background changes to the image but won't show the updated view (zoom works(implemented by lib itself -> issue on our side)).
As fo now, the problem has been narrowed down to change_image, maybe a plt.show missing
