Summary
index.htmlso the Workbox navigation fallback resolves correctlyfrontend:ciIncident evidence
The current Vite 8 build completes successfully but the emitted production bundle throws during browser startup before React can render. The new smoke check reproduces that failure against the existing toolchain and passes after the rollback.
Verification
npm run frontend:ciunder Vite 8 failed on an uncaught exception from the emitted vendor bundlenpm ci && npm run frontend:ciunder the restored toolchain passed, including headless Chromium execution and the Workbox precache assertionnode --test bharatcode/test/config.test.mjs— 6/6 passednpm run build:data-schemas— passednpm run build:api— passed (existing non-fatal TypeScript warning remains)git diff --check— passedRisk and rollback
This is intentionally limited to the four build-tool packages, the PWA fallback manifest, and the regression smoke check. No application behavior or API contract changes are included. Reverting this PR restores the previous build pipeline.
