Contributor Covenant Code of Conduct

Our Pledge

We, as contributors and maintainers, pledge to foster an open, inclusive, and harassment-free environment for everyone. We are committed to ensuring participation in our project and community is respectful and welcoming, regardless of:

  • Age
  • Body size
  • Disability
  • Ethnicity
  • Gender identity and expression
  • Level of experience
  • Nationality
  • Personal appearance
  • Race
  • Religion

Our Standards

To create a positive and collaborative environment, we encourage:

  • Using welcoming and inclusive language
  • Respecting diverse viewpoints and experiences
  • Gracefully accepting constructive feedback
  • Prioritizing what is best for the community
  • Demonstrating empathy towards others

🚫 Unacceptable Behaviors

  • Use of sexualized language or imagery and unwelcome advances
  • Trolling, insults, derogatory comments, and personal or political attacks
  • Public or private harassment
  • Sharing private information (e.g., physical or electronic addresses) without explicit permission
  • Other behavior deemed inappropriate in a professional setting

Our Responsibilities

Project maintainers are responsible for:

  • Clarifying acceptable behavior standards.
  • Taking fair and appropriate action in response to unacceptable behavior.
  • Removing, editing, or rejecting contributions that violate this Code of Conduct.
  • Enforcing temporary or permanent bans for inappropriate behavior.

Scope

This Code of Conduct applies:

  • Within project spaces (e.g., repositories, chats, forums).
  • In public spaces when representing the project (e.g., via an official email, social media account, or at events).

Project maintainers may further clarify what constitutes project representation.

Enforcement

Reporting

Instances of abusive, harassing, or otherwise unacceptable behavior can be reported to the project team at: community@01cloud.com

All reports will be:

  • Reviewed and investigated confidentially.
  • Responded to appropriately, based on the situation.

Enforcement Guidelines

  1. First Instance:

    • The message is edited and marked as "abuse."
    • Content added:

      "Dear user, we want Pre-commit Automation Tools to provide a welcoming and respectful environment. Your [comment/issue/PR] has been reported and marked as abuse according to our Code of Conduct. Thank you."

  2. Second Instance:

    • The message is again edited and marked as "abuse."
    • Results in a 7-day ban.

  3. Third Instance:

    • The message is edited and marked as "abuse."
    • Results in a permanent ban.

All enforcement actions are discussed among maintainers beforehand to ensure fairness. Reports must be resolved following the GitHub Reporting Guidelines.
