The Releases workflow’s build job failed when run for tags that already had a GitHub Release, due to a 422 already_exists response from the release API. This update makes that path non-fatal so reruns/manual dispatches on existing tags do not fail the job.

  • Workflow behavior change

    • Updated .github/workflows/createZipArchive.yml in the ncipollo/release-action@v1 step to skip release creation when the release already exists for the tag.
  • Effect on failure mode

    • Converts duplicate-release attempts from hard failure to safe no-op while still uploading artifacts for new releases.
- uses: ncipollo/release-action@v1
  with:
    tag: ${{ inputs.tag || github.ref_name }}
    artifacts: "battmo.zip"
    skipIfReleaseExists: true
