Hi Philipp, do you work for an organization or company? I have to ask because you may have signed an IP agreement that asserts ownership to your work during your employment. In such case, I may need a corporate CLA to ensure there are no conflicts there.

You're the first contributor to this project so I'm still getting this formalized. Thanks for your help and patience!

I do work for a university and I think a CLA would put us on the safe side. If it makes things easier, I'll close this PR so you can make the change yourself 😄

It's GPL. Why would you need a CLA unless you require the rights assignment so that you can sell it to someone else under a different license?
