Preserve classic Broken View workflow, or provide alternative for precise positioning

Problem description

I appreciate the new and easier workflow for creating Broken Views, but it does not fully replace what I used to be able to do:
With the clumsy vanilla-FreeCAD-workflow in the sketch I can position the breaks very precisely. With the new workflow I can only guess the positioning of my clicks, which is especially difficult for very large objects. So as a stop gap it would be great if the 'classic' workflow would continue to work (e.g. when an object and a sketch is selected). Long-term it would be great to have precise positioning tools within the new workflow.

Steps to reproduce

Select an object and a sketch, click "Broken View" – the new broken view pop-up opens, no Broken View is inserted.
(If you don't have the page open you get "Open the drawing page where breaks should be created." instead.)

Expected behavior

Graceful fallback to vanilla experience until precise positioning is possible (and maybe even then there are good uses for the Sketch-based approach?)

Actual behavior

Nothing is created, just the pop-up shows.

Thanks for the feedback. I'll make it possible to use a sketch then as in the told workflow.
