Problem description
When a part is inserted into an assembly and transformed (rotated or moved) before forming a join, the Link Array tool ignores these positional and orientation changes. Instead of placing array instances relative to the joined state, the array generates using the part's initial insertion coordinates.
Workbench affected?
Assembly
Steps to reproduce
Example:
Insert a cube and a spring into an assembly. (File: Bug_of_assy_array.FCStd), Step1.png
Rotate the spring and join it to a corner of the cube. (File: Bug_of_assy_array_stage1.FCStd), Step2.png
Create the array using the spring. (File: Bug_of_assy_array_stage2.FCStd) Step3.png
Bug_files.zip
Expected behavior
The Link Array should evaluate the transformed position and orientation of the part after placement/joining.
Actual behavior
The Link Array generates elements at the original, untransformed placement coordinates of the inserted part.
