Floor changes can expose scene construction and first-use GPU stalls, while high-resolution rendering and the outline/shadow passes keep slower devices choppy. Floor travel now waits in an elevator cabin while models settle and graphics warm up, then opens automatically. Quiet original music follows the sound settings; after 15 seconds an Emergency button lets the player leave a stalled wait. Closing with X or Esc also cancels, and delayed trip callbacks cannot teleport the player after cancellation.
The new module uses the message and frame registries. It also caps initial 3D pixel ratio at 1.25 and reduces resolution, shadows and outline passes only after sustained slow rendering. Interface text retains normal browser resolution. README and docs/performance.md describe the behavior.
Validation:
The local deployment combines this branch with the user's existing custom-floor branch in a separate integration worktree; those unrelated custom features are not included in this PR.
