[macOS] Viewport pan/zoom permanently stops responding after middle-click inside the right-click context menu #341

Description

@francoisgfx

Describe the bug
On macOS, while in the viewport's Zoom or Pan interaction mode, opening the right-click context menu and then performing a middle-click-drag on top of that open menu permanently kills all further pointer interaction with the viewport (pan, zoom, click-drag). Only the F (Fit) hotkey still works afterward — no other mouse interaction with the viewport recovers, and no error is logged. The only way to restore functionality is to fully restart xStudio.

I cannot reproduce this on Windows following the exact same steps.

To Reproduce

  1. Load an image/clip into the viewer.
  2. Activate Zoom or Pan mode (toolbar toggle or hotkey) and confirm you can freely pan/zoom the image.
  3. Right-click on the viewport to open the context menu.
  4. While the context menu is open, middle-click and drag on/inside the menu (a real middle-mouse-button drag; also reproducible via a trackpad gesture, though less reliably).
  5. Dismiss the menu.

Expected behavior
The context menu closes normally and pan/zoom (or any other pointer interaction) continues to work on the viewport as before.

Desktop (please complete the following information):

  • xStudio version: v1.3.0
  • OS: macOS 26.6.2
  • Qt: 6.5.3
  • Input devices: reproduces with a real mouse (easiest/most reliable), and also reproduces with trackpad gestures (harder to trigger, but confirmed)
