It's a but cumbersome for most of us who have no experience compiling software but love the open source environment and tools

It would be great if people here who are more knowledgeable could on occasion compile versions for the different platforms, like Windows, to help out the rest of us.

I noticed Open RV has someone who compiled the Windows version and placed it on github, so it's feasible.
