Stock-Out Risk Alerter

A Streamlit web app that analyzes inventory data and flags SKUs at risk of stocking out before their next replenishment arrives.

What it does

• Upload any inventory CSV with stock levels and daily usage
• Automatically computes days of stock remaining per SKU
• Classifies each SKU into Critical / Warning / Low / OK risk tiers
• Compares stock against supplier lead time — not just a fixed threshold
• Interactive filters by risk level and days of stock
• Download a filtered alert report as Excel

• Pandas vectorized operations and boolean masking
• Supply chain formulas: days of stock, lead time comparison, risk classification
• Streamlit file upload, sidebar filters, metrics, and download button
• Plotly interactive bar charts

How to run

1. Clone the repository git clone https://github.com/YOURUSERNAME/stockout-risk-alerter.git cd stockout-risk-alerter

2. Install dependencies pip install -r requirements.txt

3. Generate sample data python generate_data.py

4. Run the app streamlit run app.py
