Why

The supported Windsurf client ID needs a project installation path for the current Devin CLI while preserving the selected user profile.

Changes

Qualify the measured Devin CLI 3000.11.205 contract for repository-local skills and MCP. Reuse existing transactions and the native config kernel; preserve separate A/B/user ownership, selected executable/version, retained data and foreign entries. Reject copied or wrong-client bindings. Comments-only MCP JSON handling preserves strict duplicate/trailing-comma refusal and existing Gemini/user behavior.

Review and validation

The client research/plan and version/selected-facts/comments amendments each received two independent GO reviews before code. Both final implementation reviews close all findings and inspect the three codec merge resolutions preserving Codex, Copilot and Devin. Independently executed final nativeconfig tests passed (3.471 s), as did preserved Windsurf tests (0.006 s). Earlier production-composed TLS Git, cold ZIP and imperative lifecycle/SDK tests passed at their recorded revisions; the six public lifecycle/fixture files are byte-identical through the final merge. Duplicate final composed runs were blocked by local ENOSPC and are explicitly not counted as passes.

Ten genuine isolated version/help observations and pinned official documentation support the qualified contract. Completion remains prepared plus installation verified; native project trust/MCP/model runtime is not inferred from fixture evidence.

Stack

Client slice of #472, based on the frozen internal feat/project-component-base snapshot. Reviewed local commit 8f4bb11909c9d9729e8b636bdde371c3507ccd76 was published with an identical Git tree. Retarget and merge into the project feature after review/integration. No main merge or release.

Delivered in #499

Delivered by #499, merged into main as 3b93148c. The integrated source 3386c72a91e7e9b3574f12ce0613b399227a1ada passed all 74 check runs and 24 PR workflows; the actual merge tree is identical to that validated source.

This PR's reviewed head a8db1d60416752d288449085435508ad73743a20 is preserved by ancestry in the integrated source and the main merge. Closing as incorporated; no separate merge into the earlier stacked base is needed.
