Purpose
Configure Cursor skills and MCP within the selected project, preserving user configuration and other projects.
Changes
Add the reviewed component lane for
.cursor/skillsand.cursor/mcp.json. Exact native ownership, package/data/cwd bindings, collision refusal, and transactional updates/removal use the shared project context. Successful configuration remains prepared/installed; activation attestation cannot manufacture native discovery.Review and evidence
Both independent final implementation reviews, selected-data authority correction, and hosted test-selector correction are GO in the committed reports. Public CLI E2E exercises real TLS Git and ZIP acquisition, project A/B installation, unchanged sync, read-only status, drift repair, pin update, portable export/cold import, and exact removal with unchanged user/B inventories. The fresh combined Linux project CLI run passed in 97.217s. Applicable shared macOS/Windows canonical-fixture and frozen documentation-projection failures remain tracked in the project feature follow-up; they are not reported as passing.
The separately observed pinned Cursor version/help does not establish project discovery, effective enablement, MCP initialization, or editor behavior. Those native observations remain explicitly unqualified.
Integration
Merge the reviewed client leaf into
feat/project-install-e2e(#472). Final assembled cross-platform and feature gates remain on that branch. This PR does not authorize a main merge or release.
